About Fest : R V College Of Engineering has a tradition of being in the forefront and a trendsetter in all strata of academia, sports and cultural activities. ‘8th Mile’ has been a trade mark of RVCE’s rich and diverse culture. The words “Techno-Cultural Festival” do make a feeble attempt towards describing 8th Mile, but perhaps the word “Celebration” more accurately sums up what 8th Mile stands for. Every March, when transition from winter to summer sets out, RVCE wakes up to an extravaganza of colour and energy that lasts three days and three nights. Around 10,000 people come together at 8th Mile to celebrate; predominantly among them, students and young professionals in the age group of 15-35. We at 8th Mile believe, this offers our partners an excellent opportunity to communicate with a large group of people and render a recall level that simply cannot be achieved by means of the usual channels of media communications.
